PICU Transfers
Psychiatric intensive care unit inter-hospital transfers require the highest standard of clinical support during conveyance. Our PICU-trained crews work directly with sending and receiving clinical teams to ensure safe, documented handover.
ICU-Level Clinical Support
Crews trained to manage acutely unwell detained patients during inter-hospital transfer. Advanced monitoring capability, PMVA trained.
Clinical Escort
Where clinically required, we coordinate with the sending team on clinical escort requirements. Our crews can accompany or receive a clinical escort from the referring trust.
Equipment & Documentation
Vehicle equipped for psychiatric intensive care conveyance. ePCR and MHA documentation completed during transport, handed over formally at destination.
CAMHS & Under-18 Transport
Transport of children and young people under the Mental Health Act has specific legal and clinical requirements. Our CAMHS-trained crews are experienced in working with young people in mental health crisis.

Under the Policing and Crime Act 2017, police custody is prohibited as a Place of Safety for under-18s. Our crews understand this and will only transport to health-based S136 suites.
